Electronic security

Know when something needs your attention.

We design and install intruder alarm systems around how your property is used, with detection, arming areas and notifications configured for your site.

The problem

Why it matters

An alarm that's armed as one big area, or that staff don't know how to use, ends up switched off. Detection, areas and user permissions should reflect how the building is actually used.

How it works

Our approach

  1. 01We walk the site and agree what needs detecting and when it's occupied.
  2. 02Motion detectors, door contacts and specialist detection are placed for each area.
  3. 03Separate alarm areas let the warehouse stay armed while the office is open.
  4. 04Arming procedures, user codes and permissions are set up and explained to staff.

Detection

The right detector for each space reduces false alarms.

  • Motion detectors
  • Door contacts
  • Specialist detection where required

Keypads, areas and users

Keypads are placed at sensible entry points, with separate areas and permissions for different staff.

  • Alarm keypads
  • Separate alarm areas
  • Staff access and arming permissions
  • Arming and disarming procedures

Power and communication

Sirens and notifications are configured for the site, with backup power and a communication pathway suited to the property.

  • Sirens and notification options
  • Backup power
  • Communication pathways
  • Existing-system assessment and upgrades

Notification is not monitoring

An alarm notification tells you or nominated people that something happened. A contracted monitoring or response service is a separate arrangement with a provider who acts on alarms. Not every alarm includes monitoring, patrol attendance or emergency response — any monitoring is quoted separately.

Inception

Integrated intruder detection and access control with browser-based management. A suitable configuration can coordinate users, access permissions and alarm areas — for example, a staff member's credential that opens the front door and disarms the office area.

Integriti

An integrated platform for properties requiring more complex alarm areas, access control and compatible security integrations. Automation, integrations and operating behaviour must be designed and commissioned for the site.

Example

Separate alarm areas for an office and warehouse

The warehouse can stay armed overnight while early office staff disarm only their area.

Area 1 — Office

Disarmed 7am–6pm

  • • Front door contact
  • • Office motion detectors
  • • Keypad at reception

Area 2 — Warehouse

Armed outside 6am–4pm

  • • Roller door contacts
  • • High-mount motion detectors
  • • Keypad at staff entry
